Hydrogen purification line LOV-240/200 is used to purify raw hydrogen from oxygen, chlorine, nitrogen, carbon oxide and dioxide impurities and moisture; hydrogen compression to 200 kgs/sm2 and filling of gas cylinders with holding capacity up of 40 liters to the pressure of 160 kgs/sm2.

 

Hydrogen purification line LOV-240/200 allows simultaneous loading of up to 16 cylinders with holding capacity 40 liters to the pressure of 160 kgs/sm2.

Operation of the hydrogen purification line requires the following:

• Cool water with the pressure 1 kgs/sm2 and flow rate 6 m3/hour with temperature 10 °С and hardness 3 mg equ/l;

 

• Nitrogen for purging with the pressure 0.5 kgs/sm2 with flow rate 3 nm3/hour and with water vapors contents 4*10-3 vol.%. (dew-point -50 °С).

 

Hydrogen purification line LOV-240/200 is equipped with:

• Gas meter for raw hydrogen supplied for purification;

 

• Raw hydrogen quality control testers (hygrometer to measure gas moisture and gas analyzer to measure oxygen content in the gas);

 

• System for gas contamination monitoring in the premises by maximum permissible hydrogen concentration.

 

External pipelines are made from tubes with the following nominal diameters:

• Hydrogen line, Dn=100 mm;
• Nitrogen line, Dn=20 mm;
• Cooling water supply line, Dn=25 mm;
• Water return line, Dn=25 mm;
• Water drain line, Dn=80 mm;
